Can you change the steering wheel on the pro?
Ive had this wheel for three or four years, and having just transferred to pc i took part in a 24hr race, but i think that killed my wheel as it feels like its finally on the way out
Got a problem with my out of warranty T150. The X button broke, jammed on, and now any game is unplayable. Of course, the X button is the ONLY button you can't remap! So, anyhoo, tried contacting Thrustmaster US, pretty much only getting robo-answers. All I want is a replacement button, my repair skills are decent. Do you know of anywhere (other than Ricmotech, I already asked them, no joy) where I can source a replacement button to solder in? I hate the thought of having to get another wheel simply because one button jammed!
BTW, it is not jammed because of residue or anything. I rather think the spring that returns the button to off has broken and jammed inside the mechanism.
whats the output nm?
i am here because of your camera quality can i use it in xbox360?
what I did for a great pedal feel on these cheap pedals was used a variety small 12" to 6" bungee cords from the dollar store that I swung around the back of the pedals and hooked them to the front on the pedal board so they would essentially be pulling the pedals forwards with tension therefore making it harder to press down. I got the brake to feel pretty damn good and heavy to where I was using more muscle memory than positional. I used 3 for the brake and 1 for the throttle to stiffen it up a bit too. I had that setup for almost 2 years. Then I went to the T500 and $40 used logitech G27 pedals with usb mod. I removed the pedals from the housing and hard mounted them upside down in my rig. I also have a mix of spring mods for each pedal to where they feel great in my rig and another conical cone brake mode. Im really I managed to get my clutch pedal to have that biting point feel like real clutches do with an assortment of springs from a local place. Diy Sequential and hand brake all mounting in a schedule 80 PVC cockpit that has no flex with a Subaru STi Seat on it from the junkers. I like to build what I can and keep things cheap but I would love a Simucube 2 with at least some 250$ fanatec CSL Elite Load cell pedals and a proper TH8A shifter or Fanatec one. I would also love that T-Bracket aluminum cockpit from simlabs but that shits expensive. Anybody know of someone who bought the real kit and the gave out all the measurements and hardware pieces so you can buy the pieces yourself and save 1/3 the cost?
Love this wheel! literally increased my pb on every track
hello I have a calibration problem on the steering wheel .. when I turn it on it makes continuous movements to the left and right without ever stopping.
can someone help me? i have installed latest drivers and firmware. thank you
Main reason to get this would be to see if you like sim racing. Once you figure that out, you'll soon be upgrading. The single biggest upgrade you can make is pedals. Having something a brake with load cell makes an enormous difference and you'll always be glad you have it.
What mode button do
It makes me sad that £200 is entry level
I have this wheel, the pedals broke.i replaced with t3pa pro pedals amazing combo…very pleased
I have my own Ferrari-style T150 clamped on the table as I'm writing this. A problem is that the pedals extend further than the end of the pedal set's floor, meaning you can doink your pedals against the wall if you don't add something like a wood block between the wall and the pedal set, but I mean, I got it for 150 EUR. I can hardly complain. You might even catch me making love to the wheel, no joke, patting it, kissing it, like a lot of people do with new things.
G29 or T150?
Bought a new one, first to fourth start up the self calibration was running and tried to install the driver.. After that it stopped self calibrating at the start and the mode light which used to be on is now blinking once at start and now turns off completely. I need serious help as thrustmaster themselves have not responded..
Buy t150 pro version it comes with t3pa 3 pedal set.
F458 stamp in the pedal calls 458 spider series entry level for xbox also from thrustmaster.
imo the break pedal is just fine , i mean the people who will buy this are upgrading from a controller which has absoluetly no feel for the pedals nor steering so quite worth it
My t150 steering doesnt return to the center what should I do
thanks for the detailed review, do we know the spec of the motor inside, I am thinking if that could be upgraded to some stronger motor for more torque.
The wheel itself is pretty good, got some overheating problems. Maybe Thrustmaster should overthinking the cooling system. The pedals are crap. They should be improved fastly with the 3Tpa with some brake mods.
Compliments for your video 👍
how can i connect the thrustmaster 150 pro g29 shifter
Best wheel for the money.
I have a small screeching sound on my T150 wheel. Haven't opened it yet, but i got a question: does it need some greasing at some point? I'm thinking to grease the belt with some teflon based grease.
I have Logitech MOMO racing 15 years , can i upgrade my MOMO with this ? or this is not really upgrade from the MOMO ?
Do you know where the fuse is in this steering wheel? My steering wheel does not respond to connection to PS or PC at all. The bootloader didn't change anything either
But I I want to change the steering wheel what can I do?
Have had mine for over a year. Got the T3PA pedals and it has been great for me! I love it. Obviously there is better wheels out there. But I don't have alot of funds to put towards sim racing but I'm very competitive and race consistently online. So it works fine for me. Heck of a product
My T150 cooling fan seems to run all the time, I can hear it buzzing.
I wonder if it is normal.
Do you review the Pro version of this wheel?
This wheel has been my default since I started sim racing, works great. I want to upgrade to a fanatec CSL Elite next, but if not that, maybe a more moderate upgrade would be a T300 for now.
Can anyone help me with Tmx motor specs ? i want to change the motor but i cant find the specs for it
How could you miss how to put the pedals back in after saying it was tricky????
I know I'm a bit late but would you recommend this as a good starter wheel for a budget of 200 pounds/dollars
I have only just wanted to get the wheel because I'm bored of playing kn controller
Used exact this steering wheel for about 4 years. A couple of Days ago, the wheel makes a little sound like a little explosion. Then Windows said Missing Wheel and the wheel started smoking. I don't know whats the issue with my wheel. I already opened it up, the condensators are fine.
I bought one yesterday for my pc.
After 1/2 an f1 race, it’s no longer centered. Now when I plug it in, it constantly spins left and right, and I have lost the ability to calibrate it.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and firmware and it didn’t do anything.
I’m returning it to Best Buy today. One day, half a race, junk.
I give it negative one star out of 5.
Can you tell me something t150 vs g29 about lifespan? Which one would be more durability in theory?
Between t150 pro and g29, which one do you recommend?
is the wheel itself able to be taken off?
I have this wheel , love it 🔥🔥
My wheel just fried its circuit
You didn't mention anything about gear backlash, I certainly do feel a bit of free play before it engages with the belt driven gear
Just bought Assetto Corsa on my PC & cant afford a T300 or CSL set right now so I’d greatly appreciate anyones input on these 2nd hand options I can get;
This T150 but with the TP3a pedals or theres a few TMX variants (Its the same but for XB right?)
Couple of G27 sets & plenty of g29/923
A Fanatec 911 GT2 w club sport pedals
The latter is what I’m leaning towards despite its age & I know it’s a different drive system to the Logitech but does anyone think it’s still a viable option these days?
Quick user review from me, had it for a good 1.5 yrs, been using it on a regular basis for various types of driving, mainly drifting and club racing and the issues ive had so far have been that my gears have worn down a lot and lot from all of the drifting and hard counter steering ive been doing, it even sometimes skips a tooth and crackles a lot and the ffb doesnt feel as smooth as it used to, BUT if you were to not do stuff like drifting on the regular in which you very often steer fast and hard and against the ffb then I recon youre not gonna have the issues, because I can still race fine and almost never notice these issues, only when as mentioned I have to spin my wheel very hard and quick, and only to one side aswell.
One issue I just experienced a little while ago is that the plastic peace from the table mount on which you have to spin it broke of, so now its almost impossible for me to mount it to my desk.
When drifting ive also noticed some ffb fade but not when racing so overheating is ok pretty much and the last thing is that id recommend the t3pa pedal set, so the t150 pro, use it all until it falls apart and then only upgrade your wheel to a t300 and leave the pedals how they are with which you can probably save some money, hope this helped
Too many people say the components gets fried/wornoff. Looks like ill get the G29 for more durability
Hey man ik its hard to answer but this or the new g923?
Good night sim Racing l have a problem muy t150 steering wheel does not turn on, it does not recognize it,my PS4 l connected it, l calibrated normal, l pressed the pc button and it did not give me, l disconnected it, and it did not again look In pages that IS the firmware but the pc does not he recongnizes it, it seems that voltage does not reach him, could you help me thank you
The T300RS has literally the same pedals, just added weight on the part where they didnt inclued it here, and metal plates, and a spring for the brake. I upgraded to TLCM and i wanted to clean it, and oh boy, now its a pain to reassembly and try to figure out on wich part the gears align for the pots
